Wicklow House/ Full Architectural Service Studio
This contemporary rural dwelling combines classical proportions with modern detailing. The main two-storey volume features a clean gabled form, vertically proportioned sash-style windows, and a symmetrical front elevation framed by a pared-back portico and crisp stone surrounds. The chimney stacks add a traditional silhouette and balance to the composition.
A contrasting single-storey wing to the side, linked by a stone-clad connector, houses open-plan living areas and connects seamlessly to the garden via full-height glazing. The use of natural stone, smooth render, and standing seam metal roofing creates a timeless material palette that grounds the home in its landscape.
Strong geometry, careful massing, and high-quality detailing give this home both elegance and presence, blending traditional Irish farmhouse influences with modern family living.
