Kilmore House/ Full Architectural Service Studio
Externally, the house is defined by a restrained palette of white render, natural stone, and standing seam metal cladding, bringing a refined yet grounded presence to its rural setting. Large-format glazing and crisp gables reflect a modern interpretation of vernacular forms, while vertical stone chimneys anchor the building within the landscape.
The home is composed of interlocking volumes, creating sheltered outdoor spaces, including a central courtyard with a reflective water feature – a tranquil space for rest and contemplation.
Internally, the house is bright, airy, and finished to a high standard. A generous double-height entrance hall establishes a sense of scale and openness, enhanced by full-height glazing and carefully curated lighting.
The interiors are both calm and elegant, featuring soft neutral tones, warm timber flooring, and bold lighting elements. A frameless glass balustrade reinforces the clean lines of the interior architecture.
Living spaces are light-filled and enjoy strong visual connections to the garden, while tall gables and vaulted ceilings add a dynamic rhythm throughout the home. The overall design blends modern family living with timeless architectural simplicity.
