The landscape strategy terraces the garden into the sloping site, integrating generous patios and formal planting into the architecture. A stepped sequence of platforms leads from the main living areas to a lower-level outdoor seating zone, designed for calm and reflection. A small, still water feature offers a place to sit, pause, and appreciate the surroundings.
Internally, the home is flooded with natural light. A dramatic double-height hallway with feature lighting and gallery landing forms the heart of the home, connecting living spaces to a more private bedroom wing. Textures and materials—natural timber floors, glass balustrades, and crisp white walls—are paired with rich furnishings and statement lighting for a warm yet sophisticated interior.
This project embodies a balanced response to its setting—confident and contemporary, yet grounded in the spirit of rural Irish architecture.
