Maynooth House/ Full Architectural Service Studio

This contemporary home is defined by a striking arrangement of gabled forms, creating a clean yet sculptural architectural language. A mix of crisp white rendered walls, natural stone, and vertical timber cladding softens the strong geometry, embedding the house comfortably within its rural setting. Large sections of floor-to-ceiling glazing are used to frame garden views, flood interiors with natural light, and promote a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. An elegant link corridor of full-height glass separates the primary living spaces from the more private bedroom wing, enhancing light flow while creating a sense of calm and clarity. The centrally located outdoor room—with a pitched roof and stone backdrop—acts as a sheltered retreat, ideal for year-round use. Timber-lined ceilings and soft landscaping complete the carefully considered design. RSDS provided all architectural services and 3D visualisation for this bespoke home, which balances a rural vernacular influence with a refined modern aesthetic
